My VIRAGO Adventure: From Passion to Reality

I'm Ariadna, the director of VIRAGO Barcelona. I've always been passionate about fashion, but my professional career was far from this world. With no prior knowledge of design or sewing, I embarked on this adventure driven by an intuition and an unwavering desire to create something of my own, to create something for women like me who felt that they lacked garments that fully reflected their style and values.

Why VIRAGO?

The word "virago" evokes a strong, courageous, and determined woman. That's exactly how I wanted the women who wear VIRAGO to feel: confident, independent, and authentic. Our brand is a tribute to femininity, redefining stereotypes and celebrating beauty in all its forms.

Our motto, "Pink but Strong," encapsulates the essence of VIRAGO. We believe that femininity and power are not opposites, but complements. VIRAGO women are like flowers that bloom with strength, adapting to any circumstance.

From day one, VIRAGO has been a journey full of challenges. Starting in an unknown sector, producing in Spain, and overcoming a global pandemic have been tests that have made us stronger. But every obstacle overcome has been a victory that has brought us closer to our goal. And we raise a glass to continue making this journey together.

An Anecdote That Says It All

I remember when I started designing my first collections. My drawings were more like doodles, and my pattern maker looked at me with a mixture of amazement, patience, and terror. But with a lot of effort, passion, and, of course, the help of great professionals, we managed to turn those doodles into reality.
